To Configure the Pre-scan Parameters
You can set the following parameters in Pre Scan Configure in the scan
parameter editing interface (Figure 6-1).
1. Scan start frequency
Click the Scan Start(Hz) box and input the start frequency of pre-scan (for
example, 9k). The default unit is Hz.
2. Scan stop frequency
Click the Scan Stop(Hz) box and input the stop frequency of pre-scan (for
example, 1.5G). The default unit is Hz.
3. Scan range
Click Auto under Scan Range to set the start frequency (Scan Start) and
stop frequency (Scan Stop) of the current pre-scan to the minimum and
maximum of all the scan sub-ranges added (Add) into the Scan List.
Note: Before using Auto, you need to add (Add) the scan sub-ranges into
the Scan List. The sub-ranges cannot overlap. The scan sub-range is defined
by Range Start(Hz) and Range Stop(Hz).
4. Pre-scan detector
Click the dropdown arrow in the Pre-Det box and the menu as shown in the
figure below is displayed. You can set the detector mode to Pos Peak,
Average, RMS or Qpeak.
