When using more than one controller in a multi-drop mode, each
controller must be provided with its own unique address. The controller
address (Slave ID) may be programmed between 1 and 247. The
transmit delay may be set between 0 and 199 ms. The parity can be set
to even, odd, or none with 1 or 2 stop bits.
The PD6210 can also be connected to another PD6210 with a special
PDA1200 cable, allowing the user to copy all the settings from one
controller to another, using the Copy function.
A PD6310 may be similarly connected to another PD6310.
A PD6210 may not be connected to a PD6310.
Select Menu (SElEct)
The Select menu is used to select the signal input conditioning applied to
the input (linear, square root, or programmable exponent, low-flow cutoff,
and analog output programming. The multi-point linearization is part of
the linear function selection.
