5.2. PERIODIC CLEANING TO BE PERFORMED BY THE
USER
ATTENTION!
This maintenance must be performed only by
specialized or authorized personnel. MCZ shall not be
held liable for any damage to persons or things if this
instruction is disregarded. MCZ reserves the right to
evaluate the validity of the guarantee based on the
damage caused to the product.
5.2.1. Extracting the unit
To service some devices and clean some parts, a part of the unit will
need to be extracted from its seat. The mobile part is mounted on
runners that allow easy movement. Before extracting it, you will need
to remove the compensation frame as described in the instructions in
chapter 3.13 to prevent damage to it during maintenance. To remove,
extract the two front bottom screws and remove the bottom
panel.
Once you have removed the screws, pull slightly towards you to extract
the mobile part just like a normal drawer. The guides have stops that
block the mobile part once it is extracted all the way out.
THE UNIT MUST BE EXTRACTED ONLY WHEN THE
STRUCTURE IS COLD. DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL
POWER SUPPLY FIRST.
When you put the mobile part back in place, make
sure to fully tighten the two screws you previously
removed. If you forget to do this, the product may not
work due to lack of electricity or soot leakage
5.2.2. Cleaning of the air filter
At the back of the unit, at the combustion air intake tube Ø 5 cm, there
is a metallic mesh air filter. Its purpose is to keep dirt out of the motor
body and the internal sensor.
This filter should be cleaned every time you extract the unit from its
seat to carry out recommended maintenance in the middle of and at
the end of the season.
To clean the filter, remove it in the direction of the arrow and remove
dust from it using a brush, damp cloth or compressed air.
ATTENTION!
THE AIR FILTER MUST BE INSTALLED. Never operate
the product without the air filter.
MCZ shall not be held liable for damage to
components if this instruction is not followed.
The filter is made of metallic mesh. It is soft and
malleable to the touch. Therefore, when cleaning it,
be careful not to crush it or damage it in any other
way. If it is broken it must be replaced
