4.20. Exiting alarm condition

If there is an alarm, to restore normal operation of the unit you will

need to follow the procedure outlined below:

• Place selector D of the rear emergency panel in the OFF

position for a few seconds until the 3-figure code that identifies

the type of alarm and the message OFF disappear. This

operation will also stop the flashing of the red LED and the

acoustic alarm signal.

• Place selector D back in the REMOTE, position, so that the

unit can again be managed by the remote control.

• Turn the remote control off and back on again if you want to

relight the flame.

In the event of defect A12 (no communication

between remote control and unit), the flame will

remain on with the most recently set mode. It will

automatically exit alarm mode as soon as it receives

a signal from the remote control.

4.20.1.

Interruption of product functioning

The following things can cause mechanical shutdown:

Overheating of the stove body

Operation at maximum power for prolonged periods.

High pressure in the outlet fumes (as read by the pressure

switch) and therefore possible obstruction of the smoke

discharge system or external back-pressure.

Shutdown is signalled on the display of the emergency panel and

accompanied by a beep. In this situation the shutdown cycle is

automatically activated. It is necessary to deactivate the alarm before

restarting the product.

ALARM A3:

In case an excessive temperature occurs at the pellet

hopper level, the product will sound an A03 alarm.

The machine is equipped with an automatically

rearming safety thermostat.

To correct this condition, the user must turn off the equipment by

putting the "D" selector in the OFF position and

waiting until the structure and hopper cool down

(approximately 20 minutes).

In fact, when the machine is cooled down the thermostat will rearm

and the alarm will deactivate. It is then possible to

restart the machine.

ALARM A5:

You will need to check whether ALL the smoke duct,

flue pipe and combustion chamber are clean and free

of all obstructions. (it is recommended that this

operation be conducted by a specialist MCZ

technician). Only after the cause of the blockage

has been permanently eliminated can another

attempt to relight the stove be made.
