Function

load/eject
Loads and ejects paper. Starts charging ink (after you
finish the ink cartridge replacement procedure).

Turns the printer on and off. Clears the print buffer if
pressed twice while the power is on.

black print
head cleaning
Cleans the black print head if pressed for about three
seconds. Starts the black ink cartridge replacement
procedure if pressed while the
* ink out light is flashing
or on. This button is located inside the printer cover.

color print
head cleaning
Cleans the color print head if pressed for about three
seconds. Starts the color ink cartridge replacement
procedure if pressed while the
) ink out light is flashing
or on. This button is located inside the printer cover.
Lights
The lights on the front of the printer indicate the printer status,
such as receiving data, paper jam, or ink is low. The following
table describes what the lights mean.
