8803 The display is blank. The inverter
continues feeding into the electricity grid.
This error can have the following causes:
• The ambient temperature is so low
that the display disconnects to
protect itself.
• The inverter cannot identify the
display type.
• No display is connected or the
connection is defective.
• Wait until the temperature has risen
above ‒25°C.
• Contact the SMA Service Line
(see Section 15 "Contact" (page 94)).
9002 < Inst. code invalid >
The SMA Grid Guard code entered
(personal installer password) is not valid. • Enter a valid SMA Grid Guard code.
9003 < Grid param. locked >
The current country data set is locked. • Enter a valid SMA Grid Guard code
for changing the country data set.
9005 < Changing grid param. not possible >
< Ensure DC supply >
• DC voltage at the DC input is not
sufficient to run the main CPU.
• The selected rotary switch setting
for the language settings is not
programmed.
• The parameters to be changed are
protected.
• Make sure that there is sufficient DC
voltage available (green LED is
glowing or flashing).
• Check the setting of the rotary switches
(see Section 5.4.2).
• Enter the SMA Grid Guard code.
9007 < Abort self-test >
There is either an error in the AC
installation or the set voltage and
frequency limits do not comply with the
requirements of the Italian electricity
grids. • Check AC installation.
• Adjust the connection as described in
Section 6.3 "Connection to the
Electricity Grid (AC)" (page 29).
• Check for correct country settings as
described in Section 6.5 "Setting the
Country Data Set and Display
Language" (page 42).
The self-test is only required for
installations in Italy.
