Editing texts
Above the first line of the text editor, there is an information field
showing the file name, location and line information:
File:
Name of the text file
Line:
Line in which the cursor is presently located
Column:
Column in which the cursor is presently located
The text is inserted or overwritten at the location of the cursor.
You can move the cursor to any desired position in the text file by
pressing the arrow keys.
The line in which the cursor is presently located is depicted in a
different color. You can insert a line break with the Return or
ENT
key.
Deleting and re-inserting characters, words and lines
With the text editor, you can erase words and even lines, and insert
them at any desired location in the text.
Move the cursor to the word or line that you wish to erase and
insert at a different place in the text
Press the
DELETE WORD or DELETE LINE soft key. The text is
placed in the buffer memory
Move the cursor to the location where you wish to insert the
text, and press the
RESTORE LINE/WORD soft key
