Appendix B - Searching for assets stored on the XMS
ObjectName The O BJECT N AME property is a shorthand reference for the asset that is
passed from the ObjectName IPTC field (e.g. Ferry sinks, or Wall St.).
Type the object name in the text box, then qualify the property’s search
using one of the following conditions:

E QUAL TO
• N OT EQUAL TO
• C ONTAINS
Orientation The O RIENTATION property represents the layout of the image area.
Select either P ORTRAIT or L ANDSCAPE from the drop-down list, then qualify
the property’s search using one of the following conditions:

E QUAL TO
• N OT EQUAL TO
Photographer The P HOTOGRAPHER property represents the name of the photographer. It
is equivalent to the I NFO B Y -L INE IPTC field name.
Type the photgrapher’s name in the text box, then qualify the property’s
search using one of the following conditions:

• N OT EQUAL TO
• C ONTAINS
PictureDescription The P ICTURE D ESCRIPTION property represents the description of the visual
content of the asset. It might identify what is actually depicted in the asset.
Type description in the text box, then qualify the property’s search using
one of the following conditions:

• N OT EQUAL TO
• C ONTAINS
ProcessNotes The P ROCESS N OTES property describes how the image has been altered.
Type the editor’s notes in the text box, then qualify the property’s search
using one of the following conditions:
