1000 Mbps is not supported on the SAP-4EXP SFP+ ports.

To support the wire-speed forwarding cross board on the SAP-4EXP, the SR6616-X router needs to be
installed with a SFE-X1.
SPE/OAP
H3C SR6604-X, SR6608-X, and SR6616-X routers support the service processing engine (SPE). Based on
the open application platform (OAP), the SPE can provide multiple services. For more information about
the SPE and OAP, see relevant datasheet.
HIM/MIM
H3C SR6604-X, SR6608-X, and SR6616-X routers support HIMs and MIMs. Both HIMs and MIMs
provide synchronous serial ports, Ethernet ports and E1 ports. For more information, see H3C

Lightning protector for a port
If part of the network cable of a copper Ethernet port must be routed outdoors, connect a lightning
protector to the cable before you plug the cable into the port.
You can install the following port lightning protectors to the router:
