Connecting the LSVM1DC650/LSVM1DC300
1. Unpack the DC power cord, identify the plug for connecting to the power module, orient the plug
with the power receptacle on the power module, and insert the plug into the receptacle (see Figure
74 ). The receptacle is foolproof. If you cannot insert the plug into the receptacle, re-orient the plug
rather than use excessive force to push it in.
2. Use a cable tie to secure the power cord to the handle of the power module, as shown in Figure
73 .
3. Connect the other end of the power cord to the DC power source.

Installing/Removing an interface card
This section applies to the S5800 switches that have expansion interface slots. For the interface cards
available for the switches, see " Interface cards ."
This section uses the LSW1SP4P0 interface card as an example to describe the procedures of installing
and removing an interface card.
