Syntax: diag
Description: Tests whether UART, DRAM, Flash and EEPROM are working normally or not.
Arguments: None.
Example:
SS2GD8I(diag)# diag
EEPROM Test : OK
UART Test : OK
DRAM Test : OK
Flash Test : OK
loopback
Syntax: loopback
Description: Tests internal/external loopback.
Arguments: None.
Example:
SS2GD8I(diag)# loopback
Internal Loopback Test : OK
External Loopback Test : Port 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Fail
ping
Syntax: ping
Description: Tests if the switch is able to ping a specific IP address or domain.
Arguments:
: IP address or domain name (e.g. 192.168.0.100 or www.yahoo.com)
Example:
SS2GD8I(diag)# ping 192.168.1.115
Gateway : 192.168.1.253
192.168.1.115 is alive.
