Initiate Negotiation Determines whether the port actively negotiates with the peer site or passively
waits for negotiation requests.

Allow PAP Lets the peer to negotiate for PAP.

PAP Username This field is used to log on to the peer. Type the appropriate PAP Username
in this field.

PAP Password Enter the password necessary to log on to the peer under a given PAP

CHAP Username Type the appropriate CHAP Hostname in this field.

Parameters To Negotiate
The table displayed near the bottom of the PPP Service Details screen shows
which parameters are set to be negotiated. You can specify which parameters
should be negotiated by clicking on the pull-down menu next to each
parameter and selecting the desired option. Parameters that can be negotiated
are described below.
