WK1 Or Computer
ChnLock: (ON/OFF) The CHANNEL LOCK function locks the current
Performance setting to the entire instrument. Before using this
function you should set ChnLock to ON status, then modify the setting
of the MIDI channels. This is the only way to apply the MIDI channel
setting to the entire instrument. Use the TEMPO/DATA to set this
function to ON or to OFF.
The last setting saved will be maintained in the machine memory even
when WK1Or is turned off, provided that the first Performance, which is
the one on which WK1Or sets by default upon turning on, has been
saved to Store Performance.
Dump: DUMP function transmits all data from WK1Or internal memory
via MIDI: this is a further possibility to safeguard valuable data.
To dump data to any data filer (computer, sequencer, etc), proceed
as follows:
1) Connect WK1 Or MIDI OUT port to the MIDI IN of the external
device.
2) Use the PAGE and PAGE keys to select DUMP page. Now
select the type of data you wish to transfer (ALL, SEQ, PERF)
with the TEMPO/DATA keys.
3) Recording procedure starts in the external device.
4) When finished, press ENTER twice.
SERIAL
Serial (Off, PC1, PC2, Mac): This function allows you to set the function
of the computer port on the instrument’s back panel. This is a direct
interface with your computer’s serial port and can be used as a reliable
alternative to MIDI without the need for a MIDI interface card. Normally
set to OFF, the port can be set to operate in any of the following modes:
PC1: Slower setting for Windows P.C. Only use this mode if you
have problems with PC2.
PC2: Fastest setting for Windows P.C. Use this mode when possible.
MAC: Appropriate setting for Apple Macintosh computers.
Use the TEMPO/DATAbuttons to toggle between On and Off.
TV
TV=PAL/NTSC: This function enables the video standard according to
the television you connect to when using the WK2 Or Karaoke function.
You can choose between PAL (Europe) or NTSC (U.S.A.)
Use the TEMPO/DATA buttons choose the desired setting.
TV Text
TV text: (On/Off) This function anables/disables the WK1 Or for the
projection of Song lyrics onto an external monitor or domestic TV set
connected to the rear panel RGB or S-VHS port.
Use the TEMPO/DATAbuttons to toggle between On and Off.
