Clear Song Style (User Song Style)
If you are not satisfied with a Song Style, it is possible to delete some
values through the CLEAR function in Record mode.
Press and hold the Record key for a few seconds to go to CLEAR function.
Use the PAGE key to select the section you wish to delete:
1.
ALL
: Clears all the recorded events of the current SONG STYLE but
not the last Performance programmed. In pratice, only the recorded
sequences are cancelled from the last recorded Song Style.
2.
CHORD
: The CHORD indication in the display starts blinking to signal
that the track is empty and ready for a new recording. CHORD can be
used only the first time. If you wish to record the Chord track again to
cancel recording errors you must clear the entire track with Clear
CHORD.
3.
LOWER
: Clears track 7.

UPPER 2
: Clears track 8.
5.
UPPER 1
: Clears track 9.

TEMPO
: Cancels changes made to Tempo track.

COMMON
: The Common track contains all the recorded panel events
(change of Var., Intro, Fill, Ending etc.). Common Clear deletes all
recording events.
Use the Page keys to move to the section you wish to clear and press
ENTER. Press ENTER again to confirm the display message.
Song Styles are retained in WK1 memory also when the instrument is
turned off. It is advisable to save a copy of the favourite recordings as an
ALL format file on a Floppy Disk. to avoid unwanted lost of data.
It is possible to clear data from USER SONGS and USER STYLES.
If you do not like a track of a Song or a MidiFile, you can cancel it by
selecting the Song (111 - 117) and referring to the Song Style Clear
instructions. You can choose to cancel: the entire file (ALL), the Tempo
(TEMPO), the Common track (COMMON), each of the 16 dial-selectable
tracks. To perform this operation, press and hold down the RECORD key
for a few seconds, using the CURSOR e PAGE key to reach the desired
section, and proceed to CLEAR.
When in User Style mode only the total clear of the current Style location
is permitted (8 locations from 96 to 103).
How to assign a name to a Song Style
To assign a new name to your Song Style, press and hold down the
STORE PERF key for a few seconds, then follow the instructions given in
the “Performance Name” chapter.
Important: to listen to Songs or Song Styles, the left arrowhead must be
pointing to Song mode. SONG is automatically selected every time the
PLAY/STOP key is pressed.
