The Style Tempo

The Tempo of a Style can be changed using the TEMPO/DATA keys either
before starting or during a Style, regardless of the TEMPO LOCK status.
(IMPORTANT: In some situations the same functions control other parameter.
For example, TEMPO/DATA key control the volume of a blinking track.

The current Tempo can be stored to a Performance, and be ready for new
settings. To recap, it is possible to:

a) select a Style with Single Touch Play active and recall the original Style

tempo from the ROM;

b) recall a Performance where a user programmed Tempo was stored;

c) Establish a Tempo that will not be subject to changes by using the Tempo

Lock function.

Note: The 12 Style Memory buttons also memo-

rize the Tempo and Variation parameters.

DIRECT STYLE MEMORY BUTTONS

With The 12 Direct Style Memory buttons, you can quickly recall as
many Styles as there are buttons. The overall configuration can be
changed and stored to Disk or Hard Disk partition.

With The 12 Direct Style Memory buttons can:

recall as many sound combination relating to the keyboard section (up
to 3 section) as there are buttons;

recall as many different panel setting as there are buttons;

SAVING TEMPO TO A PERFORMANCE

To save the Tempo to a Performance, follow these instructions:

a) select the Performance where you wish to save the new Tempo setting;

b) use the TEMPO/DATA key to set the new Tempo

c) Press and hold the STORE PERFORMANCE button for a few seconds

d) Press ENTER to confirm the request shown in the display (“?”).

The save operation can also be carried out while the Style is playing.

TEMPO LOCK

The TEMPO LOCK function locks the current Style Tempo allowing you to
recall Styles without changing the Tempo, regardless of the status of the
Single Touch Play button.

Nevertheless, it is always possible to change the Tempo in real time using
the TEMPO/DATA key.

The activation of TEMPO LOCK is shown in the display with the alternate
flashing of the Tempo setting and the word “LOC”.

When TEMPO LOCK is ON, the Tempo setting remains fixed for all
subsequent Style and Performance selections.

When TEMPO LOCK is OFF, the selection of a Style or a Performance
recalls the memorised Tempo setting.
