AUTO ARRANGE
This option, when set to ON, allows the ARRANGE ON/OFF button to be
automatically activated by pressing START/STOP. This feature guarantees
that the Style auto accompaniments are available every time you press
Start/Stop. WK1 Or is factory-programmed to power up with the AUTO
ARRANGE function enabled.
How to change the status of the Auto Arrange function
1. Select the Arrange Mode menu by holding down the Arrange On/Off
button for an instant.
Press the PAGE button to select the Auto Arrange option.
2. Press TEMPO/DATA buttons to change the On/Off status of the Auto
Arrange option.
When Auto Arrange is OFF, pressing Start/Stop will not activate the
Arrange On/Off button automatically.
The new Arrange Mode setting remains in memory even after power
down.
AUTO BASS
Auto Bass controls the activation of the Manual Bass track which in default
conditions is set for manual play when the sequncer is not playing.
When the sequencer is off, the following possibilities are permitted when
AUTO BASS is set to ON:
• If ARRANGE ON/OFF is disabled (LED off) and the LOWER keyboard
is off (LED off), the Manual Bass track plays across the full keyboard.
• If ARRANGE ON/OFF is enabled (LED on), the Manual Bass track plays
on the lower part of the split keyboard.
• If MANUAL BASS is currently assigned to the keyboard (shown by the
“BAS” display indicator), pressing START/STOP automatically
deactivates MANUAL BASS and re-assigns the Bass track to the auto
accompaniments of the Style.
When AUTO BASS is set to OFF, the Bass track of the Style accompaniment
cannot be assigned to the keyboard for Manual Bass playing.
The setting of AUTO BASS is ON by default.
How to change the status of the Auto Bass function
1. Select the Arrange Mode menu by holding down the Arrange On/Off
button for an instant, or by moving the left display arrowhead to the
Arrange Mode menu with the Cursor buttons.
2. Press the PAGE button to select the Auto Bass option.
3. Press TEMPO/DATA buttons to change the On/Off status of the option.
When Auto Bass is OFF, the Bass track of the Styles cannot be activated
for manual play.
The new Arrange Mode setting remains in memory even after power
down.
