Usage example:
1. Make sure that QorIQ-
DPAA-SDK is installed.
2. patch –p1 < lmp.patch
3. tar –xvzf lmp-vendor-
drops.tgz
4. Follow the compilation
process by QorIQ-DPAA-
SDK.

binary
LMP linux application layer
includes the following:
- Broadcom switch S/W
(bcm.user),
- H/W diagnostics
program
- ipmi utility
- CPLD access utility
- upgrade utility
lmp.patch assumes that lmp-
vendor-drops.tgz file is
properly copied to the QorIQ-
DPAA-SDK source tree.
bcm.patch patch
BCM-SDK generates
(compiles) Broadcom
switch program with the
patch.
Usage example:
1. Make sure that the BCM-
SDK is installed.
2. patch –p1 3. Follow the compilation
process by the BCM-SDK.
np.rpm rpm
OCTEON-SDK generates
(compiles) NP U-Boot and
linux images with U-Boot,
linux, and executive
patches.
Usage example:
1. Make sure that the
OCTEON-SDK (rpm file) is
installed.
2. rpm –ivh np.rpm
3. Follow the compilation
process by OCTEON-SDK.
