15. TROUBlESHOOTING
Symptom

Remedy
The receiver fails to turn on even if
the power switch is turned ON.
The power plug is disconnected
from the AC outlet.
Plug the power plug into the AC
outlet.
No signal received.
Wireless microphone's power
switch not set to ON.
Set the wireless microphone's
power switch to ON.
Wireless microphone's battery
discharged.
Replace the wireless microphone's
batteries with the new ones.
Receiving frequency (Group/
Channel) and the wireless
microphone's frequency not
identical.
Set group and channel numbers
identical to the wireless
microphone's.
Receiving ID not identical to the
Wireless microphone's ID.
Set the ID identical to the Wireless
microphone.
Wireless microphone is used out of
the communication range.
Use the wireless microphone
closer to the antenna.
Check the antenna attenuator
setting.
No sound output.
Wireless receiver not connected
correctly to the device on the latter
stage.
Connect each component
correctly.
Sound is too faint to hear or
distorted.
Output level selector switch on the
wireless receiver's rear panel not
set to the correct position.
Set the output selector switch to
