11. DIGITAl AUDIO OUTPUT
11.1. word clock settings for the digital audio signal output
Digital audio signals of 48 kHz sampling 24 bit format by the internal clock can be output.
In addition, signals can also be output synchronizing with external word clock by inputting a word clock from
external clock generator.
Frequency range of the enterable word clock is 32 to 96 kHz.
Word clock input impedance is 75Ω. The Word clock signal can be input to the receiver's rear-mounted BNC
jack for the Word clock by connecting a coaxial cable.
11.1.1. Setting procedures
Step 1. Display "4 PERIPHERAL" in the Operation menu display

Note
Even when set to "EXTERNAL," if no Word clock input enters appropriately from
the external device, the receiver automatically switches the setting to internal clock
of 48 kHz, indicating an error alarm with the flashing Antenna attenuator and RF
cascade indicators. But the RF cascade indicator remains unlit when antenna
cascade connection is not established.
The mode switches to the external word clock mode when the word clock signal enters appropriately, and the
error alarm indication will disappear.
When the word clock setting is changed while the receiver is receiving wireless microphone signals, note that
this may cause loud noise to be generated in audio signals at the time of setting change.
