10.3. Idle Channel Search by way of Channel Scan
10.3.1. what is channel scan?
Cannel scan is a function to search and display the idle channels.
Setting the channel number based on the result from channel scan will decrease the possibility of interference
received.
10.3.2. Setting procedures
Step 1. Display "6 UTILITY" in the Operation menu display
Step 2. Press the Right key to go to UTILITY MENU.
Step 3. Select "1 CHANNEL SCAN" using the Up and Down keys.
Step 4. Press the Right key to go to Group selection screen.
Step 5. Select the group to be checked using the Up and Down keys.
Step 6. Press the SET key. The screen goes to the operation screen.
Step 7. Select ON using the Up and Down keys.
Step 8. Press the SET key.
The channel scan starts in the selected group.
An asterisk " " is displayed before the ON indication on the screen.
While in channel scan, the group and channel indicators indicate "CH.S."
Idle channels are displayed on the LCD screen after completion of channel scan. The channels of which signals
are received and judged as "In use" are not displayed.
Note: After the result is displayed, pressing the Left key reverts the display to the Group setting screen, and
pressing any other key reverts to the ID ON/OFF setting screen.
