10.4. Reducing Radio Interference by way of Antenna Attenuator
Up to 2 antennas can be connected to the receiver.
The receiver is equipped with a built-in antenna attenuator for each antenna. Attenuation level can be easily set
by the operation menu on the front panel.
The following table shows the rough relationship between each antenna attenuator level and transmission
distance. Normally set it at "0 dB" level.
Setting the "–10 dB" or "–20 dB" level narrows the usable range of wireless microphones, and the receiver is
insusceptible to radio interference, reducing interference problem when other wireless system is used in the
vicinity.
As the attenuator level can be set for each antenna, adjust the attenuator of the antenna located closest to the
source of interference if you know where the interference comes from.

Transmission distance is defined as 100% at "0 dB" level.
10.4.2. Setting procedures
Step 1. Display "4 PERIPHERAL" in the Operation menu display
Step 2. Press the Right key to go to PERIPHERAL MENU.
Step 3. Select "1 ANTENNA-ATT" using the Up and Down keys.
Step 4. Press the Right key to go to the setting screen.
Step 5. Select the antenna of which attenuator you want to adjust using the Left and Right keys.
Step 6. Select the attenuator level (0, –10, or –20 dB) of the selected antenna using the Up and down keys.
Step 7. Press the SET key.
The attenuator level of the selected antenna is confirmed.
An asterisk " " is displayed before the attenuator level on the screen.
