5.4 Speaker Wiring
Each SKE-ZN4 supplies four Notification Appliance Circuits for speaker connection. The
circuits can be supervised and wired Class B (Style Y) or Class A (Style Z). Each circuit is
capable of 50 watts of power. Note: The system can support a maximum of 50 watts of power.
Note: This configuration illustrates a 25V installation if using an SKE-V70. For 70.7V installations, see Sec-
tion Section 8.
5.4.1
Wiring Procedure
In order to gain access to the terminals on the SKE-ZN4, the cover plate must be removed.
See Figure 5-5.
5.4.2
Class B (Style Y)
Figure 5-6 illustrates how to wire speakers to the control panel using Class B (Style Y)
supervision. Make sure that the Speaker Circuit Supervision Selector is in the Class B (Style
Y) position. See Figure 5-2 for Speaker Circuit Supervision Selections.
