5.5.6 System Settings
Use the Settings menu to manage administrator and user accounts and configure local directory settings.
Managing User Accounts
The User Management screen allows you to manage the login password and grant user access rights to DVR settings.
Only the administrator can authorize and grant access rights to users.
There is only one administrator account and six user accounts. By default, the administrator account’s user name is
“admin” and the password is empty.
To change the administrator password, do the following:

On the Main Menu, click SETUP.

On the left panel, click SETTING. The User Management screen appears.

On UserType, select the account to manage.

Set Active to Enable. This makes the User Name and PasswordActive fields available for entry.

Enter a desired user name on the Username field.

Set PasswordActive to Enable.

Enter the desired password on Password and RePassword.
Note:
• The password must be 6 characters in length.
• The entered text on Password and RePassword must match.

You can modify the administrator user name if desired. To do so, enter the desired name on the User Name field.

Check the boxes on the right to grant the access rights of the function.

To save, click Apply at the bottom of the screen.
