5.4.2 Downloading Recorded Videos

On the Main Menu, click PLAYBACK. The Playback screen appears.

Select a date from the calendar. Available videos are automatically listed on the File List table.

To refresh the files, click Refresh.

You can filter the search by channel and/or video type. Select the channel or type, and then click Search. Matching
files are listed on the File List table.

On the File List table, select a file.

Click Backup to download the video to your local hard disk. The downloaded video is saved in H.264 (*.264) format.
To convert the video to *.avi format, see “5.4.3 Converting Video Format” on page 64 .
Note:
• While a video is playing, the Backup button is unavailable and you cannot download the video. Stop the
playback to make the download function available.
• See “Advanced Settings” on page 77 for details on setting the download path folder.
5.4.3 Converting Video Format
Video backup files are saved in H.264 (*.264) format. If you want to save the video files into a format playable in
common video players, you must convert the file to *.avi format.

Click . The screen below appears.

On SrcFile, click and browse for the source file (*.264).

On DestFile, click . Browse for the destination folder and enter the desired filename.

Click .

Click X to close the screen.
