To disable motion detection on an area, click a marked block and then drag the mouse to highlight the scope that
you want to unmark (area turns white). Or, click Clear to unmark all areas and then select a new area to mark for
motion detection.

To save the settings, click Apply at the bottom of the screen.
When motion detection is enabled on a channel, the motion detection icon

appears on the channel screen shown
on the monitor connected to the DVR.

Alarm Setup

On the Main Menu, click SETUP.

On the left panel, click Alarm.

On the Alarm submenu, select Other.

Modify the necessary settings.
Menu item
Description
Video Loss
Check to trigger the alarm when the camera signal is not detected.
HDD Space
Check to trigger the alarm when there is not enough hard disk space.
HDD Loss
Check to trigger the alarm when the hard disk drive is not detected.
Buzzer
Set the buzzer duration when motion is detected (OFF/10s/20s/40s/60s).
Post Rec
Select the post recording time after the alarm ends.
(5s/10s/15s/20s/30s/1Min/2Min/5Min).
