5.3.2 Viewing and Recording
From the Live screen, you can start manual recording and capture screen shots of a channel.
Using Play Controls
Use the Play Control panel to manage all the channels at the same time.

Snapshot Click to capture a snapshot of the selected channel. See “Taking Snapshots”
below.
2 Display/Hide Click to display or hide all channels.
3 Grid Display Click a number icon to view the channels in grid mode.
4 Mute Click to mute or unmute the recording volume.
5 Record Click to start or stop manual recording of all channels.
6 Volume Bar Click the bar to adjust the volume level.
Recording Individual Channels Manually

Right-click the mouse over the desired channel. A pop-up menu appears.

Select START RECORD to start recording the channel. A recording icon appears on the channel screen.
To stop recording, right-click the mouse and select STOP RECORD.
Recorded videos are saved in a local directory path. To configure the local directory path, see “Advanced Settings” on
page 77 .
Taking Snapshots

Click on the desired channel. The channel should be boxed in red.

Click the snapshot icon on the Play Controls to take a snapshot of the selected channel.
