5.5 Setup
Use the Setup menu to remotely configure the DVR. However, some functions are only accessible if you login with an
administrator account.
On the Main Menu, click SETUP to access the Setup page.

The Setup menu is divided into six submenu options:
• Record: Allows you to customize the recording settings and schedule. See “5.5.2 Record Settings” on page 66 .
• Alarm: Allows you to customize alarms and set when and how you want to be notified. See “5.5.3 Alarm Settings”
on page 68 .
• PTZ: Allows you to customize the PTZ settings. See “5.5.4 PTZ Settings” on page 70 .
• Network: Allows you to customize network settings, including email setup. See “5.5.2 Record Settings” on page
66 .
• Setting: Allows you to setup user accounts and password, customize internet speed and destination path of
backup files. See “5.5.6 System Settings” on page 76 .
• Cloud Set: Allows you to view and enable the cloud storage e-mail account associated with your DVR. See “4.5
Setting Up Cloud Storage” on page 46.
• Info: Allows you to view the hard disk space, software and MAC address information. See “5.5.8 System
Information” on page 80.
To access a submenu option, click an item from the left panel. The tree expands to show more options.
