Go to the Advanced set up screen to select how long the Mesa
should stay on when it is not in use. As mentioned under
“Adjusting the Backlight,” dimming the display backlight saves
battery power. Radios can also use a lot of power. You can
conserve power by disabling them when not in use from the
Home screen or Start > Settings > Connections.
Viewing Battery Status
You can view the status of the battery pack(s) from the Home
screen if the battery gadget is enabled. Depending on the status
of the battery pack(s), one of the following icons is shown:
Battery pack(s) power as a percent
Battery pack(s) charging
Battery pack(s) low
External power in use
Charging error
