Locations 13 to 16 - Return e-mail name
Locations 13 to 16 have one segment of character data. Use these locations to
program the name of this module in the form of
.
You
must program this for e-mail, and the domain name must be one that your mail
server accepts. Generally, looking like any other user on the domain that you are
connecting to works. Many mail servers reject e-mails from domains other than
their own to prevent spamming.
• Location 13 - Return e-mail name (characters 1 to 16)
• Location 14 - Return e-mail name (characters 17 to 32)
• Location 15 - Return e-mail name (characters 33 to 48)
• Location 16 - Return e-mail name (characters 49 to 64)
Locations 17 to 24 - TCP/IP receiver name
Locations 17 to 24 have one segment of character data. Use these locations to
program the name of the TCP/IP accounts where you want to send data (only
needed when using DNS). The name can take the form of an unqualified name
(for example,
my_computer
with no dots) or a fully qualified name (for example,
www.utcfireandsecurity.com
with at least one dot).
Note: If the DNS option is enabled (Location 0, Segment 2) and Locations 17 to
24 are left blank, then Locations 46 and 47 IP addresses are used.
