Replacing the Journal Roll

To remove the Printer Cover, insert
the Printer Cover Key to the Printer
Cover Lock, and turn it 90® clockwise.
Then lift the Printer Cover In the

direction of the arrow mark @ while

pushing the Printer Cover in the
direction of the arrow mark (D.

Depress the [«IF] key to wind up

enough of the Journal Paper, then
cut the paper as shown in the figure.

Depress the [JF] key to feed the
remaining paper end.

CAUTION: Never try to pull out the

remaining paper end by

hand. It may cause the

paper jam.

The wound-up portion of the paper
can be easily removed from the

Reel by pulling it side ways.

Load new roll paper as
described 1n Chapter 10.
