To connect external speakers

Connect one end of the speaker cable
to the external speaker.
Connect the other end of the speaker
cable to the TV.
While depressing the button, insert
the wire. Then, release the button.
Match the right and left channels and
+/- polarities of the TV speaker
terminals and external speakers.
Connect another external speaker
following steps 1 and 2 above.
Set the MAIN SPEAKER switch to
"EXT".
The built-in TV speakers are
disconnected.

CAUTIONS:
• Do not connect externa! speakers to more
than one audio source at a time. You will
damage your equipment if you connect the
same speaker system to both the TV and the
amplifier.
• Use only external speakers with an
impedance rating of 8 ohms and input
power of 14 W or greater.

To enjoy the sound of the DSP Surround or Dolby Pro
Logic Surround, locate the external (main! speakers and
supplied Surround Speakers as shown at the right.
