CHAPTER 4 ADVANCED OPERATION
Locking Channels
With this function, you can lock out specific channels (for example a channel that
you do not want your children to watch) by entering your own 4-digit code.
The TV will not be able to tune them for the next 24 hours, unless you cancel
parental control.
This TV has 4 memory spaces total for the TV mode and CABLE mode respectively.
To lock out channels

1 Select a channel you want to lock
out.
Press SET UP on the Remote Control
(or MENU on the TV) to display the
SET UP menu on the screen.

TV CABLE
CH PROGRAM
CH CAPTION
CH LOCK
CLOSED CAPTION
TO SELECT K/ENU
PUSH SET UP
TO CONTROL PUSH - +
Press SET UP repeatedly on the
Remote Control (or ADV on the TV)
until "CH LOCK" is displayed in
magenta.
Press - or + to call up the channel
lock adjustment mode display shown
below.
Each time you press the button,
"SET" and "CLEAR" alternate.
Select "SET".

Press Number buttons (0 - 9) to
enter a 4-digit code.
The numbers you enter will replace
the dashes in the display.
Pick a number that is easy to
remember.
Exampie: To enter "1234".
Press 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 in
order.
