• The input balance is normally preset and should need little or no adjustment.

• This adjustment is for the Dolby Pro Logic Normal/Phantom and Dolby 3 Stereo

features.

• First select one of these 3 modes. (See page 40).

To adjust the INPUT BALANCE control

When listening to a monaural sound such as dialogue, the sound should

come mostly from the Center (built-in_ Speakers. If not, adjust the input
balance control on the set. Using a dialogue portion of the program,
activate the INPUT BALANCE mode and adjust the control to minimize any
dialogue leakage coming from the left and right speakers.

Press AUD repeatedly to select
"INPUT BALANCE".

Note:

(f you select a mode other than the
Dolby Surround modes in the DSP
mode display, "INPUT BALANCE"

and "TEST" will not be displayed.
