To dub/edit video tapes using two VCR's

Connect the output jacks on a VCR for playback to the input jacks (VIDEO 1 INPUT. VIDEO 2 INPUT or VIDEO 3
INPUT) on the TV.
Connect the output jacks on the TV to the input jacks of the VCR for recording.

Note: Do not connect one VCR to the output and input jacks on the TV at the same time.

Turn on the TV and both VCR's.
Press
TV/VIDEO on the Remote Control or ANT/
VIDEO on the TV to select "VIDEO 1".
Set the VCR for recording to record mode and the
VCR for playback to play.
You can view the video tape from the VCR for
playback on the TV screen while dubbing it with
the VCR for recording.
CAUTION:
The unauthorized recording of television programs,
video tapes and other materials may infringe upon
the provisions of the copyright laws.
Notes:
• The input switch of a VCR is normally in the TV
position. Change the switch of the recording VCR to
the LINE or CAMERA position when using the video/
audio inputs of the VCR as above. Some VCR's
automatically switch when the cables are plugged into
the video/audio inputs.
• The PIP picture cannot be output from the VIDEO
OUTPUT.
