To connect an audio amplifier

Connect the VARIABLE AUDIO OUTPUT jacks to the external input jacks on the stereo amplifier. You can control the

audio equipment using the Remote Control for this TV.

TV rear

The "Fixed level" audio output from the VIDEO/AUDIO OUTPUT jacks is also available for connecting an audio
cassette recorder (or amplifier) to record audio from the TV. This constant audio signal is not affected by pressing

the VOLUME controls on the TV or the Remote Control.

To disconnect the built-in speakers

Press AUD on the
Remote Control to

menu on the screen.

Press AUD until
"SPEAKERS" is
displayed in
magenta.

Press -/+ to select

the SPEAKERS ON/
OFF mode on­
screen display at the

right.

Select "SPEAKERS ON" in step 4 above.

Note:
Make sure the volume control of your stereo amplifier is

set to a moderate listening level.
