The section Axes allows to edit the properties of

The Commands in the Instrument Tab of the Tools Menu
1.3.1 Section Connection
The section Connection of this tab can be used to
select the type of instrument and or interface:
temp-gard Check to use a temp-gard-8p that is
8p connected with the serial port of
your PC. Select the COM-Port from
the right side list.
temp-gard Check to use a temp-gard 6p or a
6p/12p temp-gard 12p that is connected to
the USB port of your PC. Select the
serial number from the right side list
if necessary
