7. Measuring procedure
7.1 Measuring
Switch the instrument on. The display shows the
difference measurement.
Set the instrument on the sample to be measured.
Now press the Operate button to start measuring.
The beep indicates that measurement has been
completed. The display will now show the measured
values for the new sample as well as the differences
to the last measured standard. As an alternative to
the Operate button, you can use the automatic
trigger to perform the measurement. To do this, hold
the instrument as shown in the accompanying
illustration.
Press on the instrument to start measuring. The
trigger is provided for measuring inaccessible areas.
The beep indicates that measurement is complete.
You can now decide whether to store your reading
as a standard or a sample. Use the
button in the difference mode to perform a quick
standard measurement. The following message
appears on the display:
