35. Install both hydraulic elbow fittings to the correct
position using an 11/16” wrench. See Figure 16.
NOTE: Make certain the O-rings do not get dam-
aged during installation.
36. Set the large O-ring onto the hydrostatic pump
assembly.
37. Set the 14T spur gear on the output shaft of the
hydrostatic pump assembly.
38. Loctite the hydrostatic mounting studs.
NOTE: Use Loctite 271
39. Place the transmission assembly over the hydro-
static assembly and secure it in position with four
hex flange lock nuts using a 1/2" socket and a
1/2" wrench. See Figure 17.

40. Place the hydrostatic pulley and fan onto the
input shaft.
41. Secure the hydrostatic pulley and fan to the input
shaft with a flat washer and hex insert lock nut
using a 3/4" socket. See Figure 18.
