Setting the TELTFAX mode ring count

This feature determines the number of rings after which the unit automaticaiiy answers a caii in the TEL/FAX

mode.

You can choose from 2 to 9 rings.

Helpful hints:
•To answer a call before the unit does, increase the number of rings. If you answer from an extension phone

on the same line, see page 44.

• If you have difficulty in receiving faxes from machines that have an automatic transmission feature, decrease

the number of rings.

Press MENU .

Display:

2 Press then [o] 0.
