Initial settings
Change the initial settings to suit your preferences and to suit the unit
to the environment in which it is being used.
These settings are retained in memory until they are changed, even if
the unit is turned off.

Preparation:
Press [SELECTOR] to select "DVD/CD".

For Australia, N.Z., China, the Middle East, South Africa and Asia
Press [SHIFT] + [SET UP].
For U.S.A., Canada and others
Press [SHIFT] + [ACTION],
The screen shows the disc setting menu (®) first.
Press [◄], [►] to select the menu’s
tab.
The screen changes to display the menu.

Press [A], [T] to select the item you
want to change and press [ENTER].
Press [A], [T] to select the option
and press [ENTER].
The screen now shows the menu again.
To return to the previous screen
Press [RETURN].
To exit the initial settings menu
Press [SHIFT] + [ACTION] (or [SET UP]).

•The initial settings cannot be accessed while program mode
(“P” is displayed, ^ page 22) or random mode (^ page 23) is on.
Press [PLAY MODE] to turn the mode off.
•The initial settings cannot be accessed white CD MANAGER
{•* page 24) is on.
Press [CD MANAGER] to select “NORMAL".
