Other methods of disc play

5) CD
Remote control only
Plays all tracks on the selected disc or on all discs once each in
random order.
Select one of two ways to play tracks.
1-DISC; Plays all the tracks on the current disc in random order.
ALL-DISC: Plays all the tracks on all loaded discs in random order.
Preparation;
• Press [SELECTOR] to select “DVD/CD".
• Ensure a Video CD or CD is in the play position tray.
(Random play is not possible it the play position tray contains a
DVD or is empty.)

While stopped
Press [PLAY MODE] to select “RAN­
DOM 1 DISC” or “RANDOM ALL
DISC”.
Each time you press the button:
PRGM->RANDOM 1 DISC^RANDOM ALL DISC

Press [DVD/CD ►].
Random play starts.
Random play is canceled when play stops.
To stop
Press [■].
Random play is also canceled. (The resume function is activated and
if [DVD/CD ►] is pressed, normal play resumes from that point.)
•This function skips DVD when ALL-DISC mode is selected.
• If the disc is a Video CD with PBC, menu play is automatically can­
celed during random play.
• You cannot skip to tracks already played.

Remote control only
Press [DISC] and
(within 10 seconds)
[1]-[5]
to select the disc.
After the first track starts playing
Select the track with the numbered
buttons.
To select track 10 or over, press [>io] then the two digits.
Play starts from the selected track.
• When playing Video CDs with PBC, press [■] to stop the disc, then
select the track number. PBC is canceled.
This does not work with some Video CDs with PBC.
