INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

These guidelines have been prepared for the professional contractor to aid in the installation of:
HIGHGATE WALL MOUNTED TUB FILLER WITH HANDSHOWER & METAL CROSS HANDLES
(STYLE# HGXT20)
All dimensions are based on original specification and are subject to change and variation.
Please consult your Design Associate for current specifications.
5. Hold the valve body (5) up to the nipples and attach
it by threading the valve body's union nuts onto the
nipples. Ensure that the washer (4) is in each nut.
HANDSHOWER INSTALLATION:
6. Attach the handshower cradle (8) to the valve body
(5) and ensure that washer (4) is located in the
cradle inlet. NOTE: A check valve is located at the
inlet of the cradle and a flow regulating check valve
is located at the outlet of the cradle.
7. Connect one end of the handshower hose (7) to the
handshower (6).
8. Connect the other end of the handshower hose (7)
to the handshower cradle outlet (8). Place the
handshower on the cradle.
INSPECT THE INSTALLATION:
9. Turn on the supplies then open the hot and cold
valves to flush out any debris in the supply lines
before diverting to the handshower. To divert to the
handshower turn the diverter lever handle, which is
the center handle.
10. Carefully inspect all connections for leaks and check
for proper operation.
