All dimensions are based on original specification and are subject to change and variation.

4. Pass the escutcheon, with rubber washer behind it,

over the cut threaded sleeve. Hold the escutcheon
against the wall and thread the handle assembly
onto the threaded sleeve, making sure the
escutcheon is centered and handle is in the correct
orientation.

5. Pull the tile guard off the threaded sleeve on the

diverter valve rough. Mark the threaded sleeve at
the finished wall. Unthread the sleeve and cut 5/8" in
front of the mark.

6. Mark the cartridge stem at the wall, then unthread

the cartridge from the valve body. Cut the cartridge
stems 1-1/2" in front of the mark.

7. After the cuts have been made, thread cartridge and

handles sleeves back onto valve body.

8. Hold the diverter plate† (SOLD SEPARATELY) and

escutcheon, with rubber washer behind it, up to wall
and thread the handle assembly onto the threaded
sleeve, making sure the diverter plate & escutcheon
are centered and handle is in the correct orientation.
