Upgrading the PC
2. For the 8000 series, secure the expansion
card to the chassis with the slot cover screw.
3. For both the S and 8000 series, if you have
replaced an expansion card, store the old
card in the anti-static packaging that
contained your new card.
❏ If you have an S series, continue to step 4.
❏ If you have an 8000 series, skip to step 5.
4. For the S series, replace the expansion cover
bracket 1 and screw 2.

procedure described in “Reassembling the PC”
on page 8–26.
