The module is equipped with AMI ® BIOS which is located in an onboard flash memory. You can update the
BIOS using a flash utility.
18.1 Determining the BIOS Version
Whenever you contact technical support about BIOS issues providing a BIOS version is espe-
cially helpful. To determine the AMI
® BIOS version press the DEL key on your keyboard during boot-up and
looks at main menu (additional information are available with submenu Board Information ):
Bios Information
BIOS Version : IPSPR???
Build Date : ??/??/??
18.2 Start AMI ® BIOS Setup Utility
To start the AMI ® BIOS Setup utility press when the following string appears during boot-up.
Press to run Setup
The main menu then appears.
The Setup screen is composed of several sections:
Setup Screen Location Function
Menu Bar Top Lists and selects all top level menus
Legend Bar Right side bottom Lists Setup navigation keys
Item Specific Help Window Right side top Help for selected item
Menu Window Left center Selection fields for current menu
General Help Window Overlay (center) Help for selected menu
Menu Bar
The menu bar at the top of the window lists different menus. Use the left/right arrow keys to make a selec-
tion.
