Ploughing and Molding
Ploughing is grooving w ith the grain the long w ay of the
w orkpiece, using the fence U se featherboards and push
sticks as required

Molding Cutting
instructions for operating the m olding head are contained
in a booklet furnished w ith the rnotding head.
Always use the molding insert listed under recom
mended accessories.
W hen using the m olding head it will be necessary to
rem ove the blade guard and spreader U se caution U se
m iter
gauge,
fence,
featherboards,
or
push
sticks,
etc,,
as required,
WARNING: For your own safety, always replace the
blade guard and spreader when you finished plough
ing or molding.
Adjustments
WARNING: For your own safety, turn switch “OFF”
and remove plug from power source outlet before
making any adjustments.
Miter Gauge
NOTE:
The graduations are m anulactured to very close
tolerances which provide am pis accuracy for fine w ood
w orking
in
som e
cases
w here
extrem e
accuracy
is
required, w hen m aking angle cuts, for exam ple, m ake a
trial cut and then recheck it
The head should be square (90°) w ith the bar w hen the
pointer points to “O ”
To check for squareness, place an accurate square on
the m iter gauge If the head is not square w ith the bar:
1 Loosen the lock knob
2. Position the head square w ith the bar. Tighten the lock
knob
3 Loosen the screw and adjust the pointer, so it points to
zero.
The sw iveling m ovem ent ot the head can be adjusted by
tightening or loosening the set screw located inside of the
head using a 1/8" hex “L" w rench
