Appendix E. Single Gate Installation (Without Gate
Controller)
The Barrier Gate option allows you to place a gate in front of the Wash Select II unit
to control the flow of traffic into your car wash. A Gate Controller is not required when
the site uses a single Wash Select II and a single barrier gate to control access to the
tunnel wash.
Note:
If the site is using multiple Wash Select IIs and multiple barrier gates to control access
to the same tunnel wash, you will require the Gate Controller. Refer to the Unitec Gate
Controller for Multi-Lane Applications Install Guide for installation procedures for sites
using the Gate Controller.
The Gate installation process consists of installing the conduit runs, cutting in the gate
loop, mounting the gate, and then wiring the gate and the Wash Select II.
