3. If you are accepting quarters:
1.
Remove the front cover by pushing in and up at the bottom right corner of
the main body of the unit (near the phone number printed on the cover).
2.
Find the rotary-switch and set it to the position labeled number 6.
3.
Press the button immediately to the left of the rotary switch once.
4.
Drop the 6 quarters through the acceptor. The IDX will blink once after
each coin. Verify that the light (LED) blinks 5 times after the last coin is
entered.
5.
Replace the rotary switch back to zero.
4. If you are accepting old $2 coins:
1.
Remove the front cover by pushing in and up at the bottom right corner of
the main body of the unit (near the phone number printed on the cover).
2.
Find the rotary-switch and set it to the position labeled number 3.
3.
Press the button immediately to the left of the rotary switch eight times.
4.
Drop the six different new style 2 dollar coins through the acceptor. The
IDX will blink once after each coin. Verify that the light (LED) blinks 5
times after the last coin is entered.
5.
Replace the rotary switch back to zero.
5. If you are accepting new $2 coins:
1.
Remove the front cover by pushing in and up at the bottom right corner of
the main body of the unit (near the phone number printed on the cover).
2.
Find the rotary-switch and set it to the position labeled number 2.
3.
Press the button immediately to the left of the rotary switch eight times.
4.
Drop the six different new style 2 dollar coins through the acceptor. The
IDX will blink once after each coin. Verify that the light (LED) blinks 5
times after the last coin is entered.
5.
Replace the rotary switch back to zero.
6. If you are accepting site-specific tokens:
See Token Setup above for more information.

Find the rotary-switch and set it to the position labeled number 1, 2 or 3.
2.
Press the button immediately to the left of the rotary switch once (or more
for a different number of pulses).
3.
Drop the six sample tokens through the acceptor, and verify that the light
(LED) blinks multiple times after the last coin is entered.
4.
Reset the rotary switch to 0 and replace the front cover.
Assume your token value is set for a $1. To program the IDX to accept two different
types of tokens, token 1 for $1 and token 2 for $2, proceed as follows:
