Basic Operation

1 Place the document on the flatbed or ADF.
For more information, refer to
Placing the Original」 (P. 1-25).
When sending a Fax from Exposure Glass or ADF(Automatic Document Feeder), make sure there is no
documents on ADF.

Press FAX on the home screen to switch to FAX mode.

Set up the settings upon necessity.

Enter the receiver’s fax number.
Number Key Pad (for direct input)
- Enter the receiver`s Fax number through the number key pad.
- Max. 40 digits can be entered.
- If a wrong number is entered, press 【 】 button to delete the number one by one.
- You can insert a pause by pressing 【Pause/Redial】.
Speed Dial

To enter Speed dial numbers directly, press # and enter 3 digit dial numbers.(001~200)
- Press 【 】 button to send the Fax.
Adding, changing or deleting speed dial numbers can be possible only in [Address Book] from the home
screen.
Address Book
- You can move to Address Book by pressing [Speed Dial] on FAX screen.
- Select any receiver in Address Book which has its speed dial number.
- Press【 】 button to send Fax
Adding, changing or deleting the number in the address book can be possible only in [Address Book] from
the home screen.
Groups
- You can select a group from the address book shown up by pressing Speed Dial.
- Press【 】 to send Fax.
Adding, changing or deleting the number in the group dial can be possible only in [Address Book] from the
home screen.
