5 Follow the steps below.
① Register the e-mail server address to [SMTP Server Address]. For example, if you use Google gmail, enter“
smtp.gmail.com”.
② Enter [SMTP Email Address]. You can enter your e-mail address(account) which is registered in the e-
mail server.
③ Enter [SMTP Password]. Enter the password to your account.
④ Enter [Server Port].
Contact your e-mail server administrator or service provider for the setting values of the server port.
Note
- The scanned documents are saved in the format of YYMMDDMMSS specified in the machine. For
example, if it is scanned at 12:30:20, January 1, 2014, the file name will include “140101_123020”
and the extension file name upon the file type.
- Some e-mails provided from internet portal service providers are limited in sending mails through
outer connection. If you have continuous failure in sending mails, contact your e-mail service provid-
ers.
